Aetna Better Health® of Illinois wants our members to stay healthy all year long. That’s why we encourage our members to get their yearly flu shot. Getting the flu shot reduces your risk of getting sick from the flu. It can also protect others. It's available at no cost to Aetna Better Health® of Illinois members.
Added benefits for our members
Pregnancy & healthy kids
Members who are pregnant can receive a convertible car seat and a diaper bag.
Virtual tutoring
After the Peanut, a local nonprofit group, has partnered with us to provide four hours of virtual tutoring and homework help. This is for eligible members in grades K–12. And help is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free after-school care
Parents of eligible members ages 6-18 can get a form to help with after-school fees at some locations.
Free school clothes
Parents of eligible members in grades K–5 (ages 5 through 11) can receive vouchers for free school clothes (three shirts, pairs of pants and sweaters) each year.
