We want to hear what you think

Your opinion matters. Every year, we hold multiple meetings to talk about what’s working for our members and what needs improvement. We encourage you to join and tell us what you think.

Quality Member Access Committee (QMAC)

Quality Member Access Committee (QMAC)

Join your QMAC, where you can share your ideas and be heard. QMAC meets on a phone or video call (in person as available) four times a year. Your QMAC includes community advocates and plan members like you.

As a member, you’ll review and comment on things like:

  • Quality and access standards
  • Grievance and appeals processes
  • Policy changes based on grievance and appeals info
  • The member handbook
  • Member education materials prepared by Aetna Better Health® of Kentucky associates
  • Community outreach activities
  • Contractor and department policies that affect members

Member Advisory Committee (MAC)

Member Advisory Committee (MAC)

Do you take part in our Supporting Kentucky Youth (SKY) program? Or have you taken part in the past? If so, we want to hear from you.

The MAC is a group of members who meet to review services and help us find ways to better serve Kentucky’s youth. They meet on a phone or video call (in person as available) four times a year. Members can include:

  • Kinship parents and families
  • Foster parents
  • Adoptive parents
  • Youth

At MAC meetings, the group talks about what’s going well and what needs improvement. Members talk mainly about:

  • Access to services
  • Service delivery
  • Gaps in support systems
  • Engagement with system staff
  • Cultural competency
  • Member knowledge of services and supports

An Aetna® group guide leads the meetings, takes notes and sends a report to you and us. Then, we work on solutions.

Join us and tell us what you think
