Rides when you need them

Need a ride to your provider appointments? Let us give you a lift. You can get help with rides to medical services we cover.

Just call Member Services at 1-855-242-0802 (TTY: 711). We’re here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

Your covered rides

Your covered rides

If you have no way to get to the hospital during an emergency, call 911. We cover ambulance rides on the ground in a medical emergency for all members. 

 

Nonemergency medical rides

 

We work with MediTrans to offer you rides for your nonemergency medical needs. You can get a ride for visits to your:

 

  • Provider
  • Dental provider
  • Pharmacy
  • Behavioral health care

There are no limits for how many rides you can use.

 

Enhanced transportation (nonemergency and non-medical rides)

 

We also offer you rides for non-medical needs. You can get 10 round trips (up to 60 miles per round trip) to places, including:

 

  • The grocery store or food bank
  • Job interviews or training
  • Places of worship and/or faith-based events
  • Other community support services

Schedule a ride today

To schedule a ride, just contact MediTrans directly. You can reach them at 1-877-917-4150 (TTY: 1-866-288-3133), Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM.

 

You’ll want to schedule rides at least 2 (and up to 30) business days in advance.

 

When you call to schedule your ride, make sure to have this info ready:

 

  • Name of the provider
  • Address
  • Phone number
  •  Appointment time
  • Type of ride needed (e.g., regular care, wheelchair van)
