$25 over-the-counter (OTC) monthly benefit
Enjoy $25 of CVS Health® OTC health supplies every month — in store or delivered to your door. Get the things you need from personal care and baby care to first aid care and cold remedies and more. We'll even send these items to you at no extra cost.
Adult dental and vision benefits
Members (age 21 and older) get up to $1,000 per year toward a dental exam and cleaning twice a year. Fillings, extractions and X-rays may also be included. Adult dental vision benefits include up to $150 toward glasses or contacts, as well as one eye exam per year.
Help with rides
Get help with rides to health appointments with stops at the pharmacy for medicine. Are you 18 or older? If yes, you can also get up to 20 one-way rides each year at no cost. These rides are for job interviews, grocery shopping, and other reasons.

How to choose us
- Online: Visit Healthy Louisiana enrollment.
- By phone: Call Healthy Louisiana at 1-855-229-6848 (TTY: 1-855-526-3346). You can call Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Tell them you choose Aetna Better Health of Louisiana as your plan.
- By mail: Complete the enrollment form you got in the mail. Send it to the address on the form.
Switching to Aetna Better Health
Already enrolled in a health plan? You can switch to Aetna Better Health during open enrollment. This period is 60 days long and happens once a year. Before then, you’ll get a letter with all the info you need to change plans.
Haven’t applied for Medicaid yet?
The first step is applying for Healthy Louisiana (Medicaid) benefits. Once you become enrolled, you can choose Aetna Better Health of Louisiana as your plan.
