To qualify for Medicaid in Illinois, your financial situation must be characterized as:
Low income; or
Very low income.
You must also fit into one or more of these categories:
Be pregnant or have a child under 18; or
Be blind or disabled or have a spouse in your household who is blind or disabled; or
Be over 64 years of age
